Sponsored by renowned international audit firm Baker Tilly, Hong Kong office, and organised by the British Chamber, the programme embraces an innovative scheme to help nurture new business ventures in the local business community from the grass roots up. It brings together entrepreneurs with new business ventures and potential investors from the business community, otherwise known as "Angels". The programme targets companies / entrepreneurs that seek to raise between US$200,000 to US$2,000,000. Deadline for applications is Friday, 12 February, 2010.

About Hong Kong Software Industry Association (HMISCA)
Hong Kong Software Industry Association (HMSiCA), formerly known as “Hong Kong and Mainland Software Industry Cooperation Association”, is registered as a non-profit making organization in Hong Kong. HMSiCA was established by a group of experienced IT professionals and entrepreneurs in Hong Kong, who believe that Hong Kong software companies could further expand their business and contribute more in the Mainland China market.

About iProA SIG (Special Interest Group) in Venture Capital and New Business Development
This is a functional sub-committee of iProA, which provides a meeting place between VCs and private equity on one hand, and entrepreneurs of start-up companies on the other. Experienced VCs as well as angel investors are invited regularly to give talks and share experiences with members on popular issues such as the sources of funding, the ingredients for attracting VCs, secrets behind VC-funded companies, and the latest market developments and trends.

Neil Orvay, CEO, Asia Spa and Wellness Ltd
Neil Orvay started his career as an Investment Banker and spent 13 years at the forefront of Capital Markets with NetWest Markets, PaineWebber and HVB Group in London, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong. In October 2002, he co-founded Sense of Touch, a boutique day spa in Hong Kong. Sense of Touch now has 5 branches in Hong Kong serving a customer base of over 9,000 expatriate and local professionals. Neil is also the Joint-Chairman of the British Chamber Angel Investment Committee and a member of the British Chamber IT Committee. He is a certified NLP Trainer under the American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a certified Time Line Therapy Trainer under the Time Line Therapy Association.
